Job Description
Provides direct care to patients on an assigned unit using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Functions and performs all technical aspects of nursing care within the framework of established policies and procedures of Sandhills Regional Medical Center. Responsible for managing care of assigned patients and guiding and directing the activities of ancillary staff. May function as charge nurse.
Requirements
Must be a graduate of a school of nursing and be currently licensed as a registered nurse by the North Carolina Board of Nursing in North Carolina or recognized compact state. BLS perferred upon hire or must complete within 90 days of hire. BLS required for continued employment.
