CEO's Message

Sandhills Regional Medical Center

Welcome

It’s been a decade since Hamlet Hospital officially became Sandhills Regional Medical Center with the opening of a new state-of-the-art facility in February 2000. Since that time, healthcare has evolved and advances in medicine and technology have helped to provide local communities access to better care.

Sandhills Regional Medical Center is on the frontline in providing excellent care close to home. Over the past few years, our hospital has added innovative services and advance equipment. We were the first in this region to open a state-of-the-art wound care center that offers two hyperbaric chambers for faster wound healing. Also, we house the only fixed-based MRI in Richmond County. Additionally, Sandhills Regional Medical Center has been awarded a Certificate of Need for six additional beds.

Our hospital continues to be the leader in dialysis and mental health services in this region and employs a large diverse, multi-specialty physican practice group in the area.

At the heart of all of this is our goal to provide our patients with the best quality of care and patient satisfaction. Our staff will be here to help you and your loved ones when the need arises. The comfort and care of our patients is our major goal.

Please visit our website periodically to stay abreast of upcoming health fairs and programs, new services, and news events concerning our hospital. Feel free to contact us for more information on our hospital, our physicians and the services we provide.

Respectfully,

Michael McNair
